In my mother's shoes

Occasionally,I put myself in my mother's shoes.
Thirty three years ago,I got married. Then, my mother was more or less my present age. When I think of her of those days and the many responsibities that she had at a time,I just marvel at this woman. At the time of my marriage, she had one daughter in the hospital who had just had a baby two days ago. And here was another daughter's marriage taking place. With all the usual problems connected with a marriage and a hospitalization, she had seven younger children and her husband to look after at home. But did I ever see her losing her cool? Never.
If I were in her place then, how would I have managed?I don't know about me..But one thing I know about her.She had tremendous faith in God.She had always been living life filled with the Holy Spirit .This helped her to live a full life in her many roles as an affectionate daughter to her parents and a dear sister to her siblings, an efficient and loving wife to her husband and a stern but considerate mother to her many children and a very indulgent and doting grandmother, all the same time. Above everything else was her famous hospitality towards all who visited her home.
Her managerial skills and joyful attitude are all that I would like to inherit.
